Dozens of Latina women gathered at Cabin John Regional Park in Bethesda on Saturday to celebrate at their annual picnic. The event also marked the 15th anniversary of the Circle of Latina Women, a group founded by Dr. Claudia Campos to provide tools and resources that promote the mental and emotional well-being of Latina immigrants.
The afternoon was filled with games, embraces, tears, and laughter as members reflected on their journey together.
