Affordable housing and renters’ rights will be the topic on Wednesday evening, Oct. 8, at a forum co-sponsored by the Renters Alliance and MCM at our studios in Rockville.
Candidates
Democratic candidates for County Executive Andrew Friedson, Evan Glass and Will Jawando, who are currently county councilmembers, will present their policies when it comes to one of the biggest challenges facing the county.
Moderator and Reporter Panel
The Chair of the Renters Alliance Board William Roberts, Esq. moderates the event. Reporters from The Banner, Bethesda Today, Maryland Matters, and MCM Reporter Suzanne Pollak will ask the questions. Questions submitted by the public will also be addressed.
Where, When, and Why to Watch
The forum will be broadcast live on MCM Channels 19 and 21 and simulcast on YouTube from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Renters Alliance encourages renters and other residents to watch so they can “better understand the candidates’ positions on housing policies affecting housing stability, quality and affordability.”
