A Rockville man died on Sunday morning after a crash on Montrose Road, according to Montgomery County police.
The victim was identified as Charles Anthony Hawkins. The 63-year-old was struck by a car at the intersection of Montrose Road and Tildenwood Drive, while riding a gray 1977 Kawasaki motorcycle.
Police said the driver of a red 2014 Toyota Camry driving on Montrose Road attempted to turn left on Tildenwood when the car hit Hawkins.
The driver stayed at the scene, and Hawkins was pronounced dead following the collision.
