Get a First Look at ‘The Pulse,’ a News Show Coming to MCM in Early 2026

Montgomery Community Media is launching an exciting new lineup of programming in early 2026 to complement its robust digital news coverage of the county.

The first of several new shows planned is a weekly news magazine program called, The Pulse, hosted by Emmy-winning journalist and MCM News Director Markette Sheppard, with veteran news producer and multiple Emmy award-winning journalist Fran Murphy, serving as chief public affairs correspondent.

The Pulse aims to be your front-row seat to the stories shaping Montgomery County with a focus on bringing you inspiring people, untold stories, and trusted information—produced at MCM’s Rockville studio and on-location at various sites around Montgomery County.
