A preliminary investigation of the stabbing incident Monday morning by Montgomery County police revealed that a suspect stabbed two family members and a Good Samaritan who attempted to intervene.
The suspect is not in custody.

Three adults were taken to the hospital Monday at 9:20 a.m. following the report of a stabbing on Indian Hills Court in Derwood.
Their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening, according to Montgomery County Police, which also noted that the scene is secure.
UPDATE: Three adult victims have been transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
The scene is secure at this time.
