Sherwood Football Falls Just Short of Title: Making its first Maryland State High School Football final appearance since 2008, Sherwood (Sandy Spring) made a valiant comeback but eventually lost to Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical (Baltimore) 40-20 at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis.

5. ICYMI: The “Trust Act” would codify a 2019 Montgomery County Executive Order that was intended to ensure that the constitutional rights of county residents who are immigrants are not violated.
