Montgomery County police released new surveillance video Friday showing a person of interest in the Valentine’s Day killing of an 87-year-old man inside his apartment at a senior living facility in Potomac.
Police said Robert Fuller Jr. was found the morning of Feb. 14 with a gunshot wound to the head inside his apartment at Cogir of Potomac Senior Living, He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department are asking for the public’s help identifying the individual seen in the video, who investigators believe was on the property around the time of the homicide.
The person is wearing a loose-fitting plaid shirt, what appear to be boot-cut pants and sneakers, police said.
“At this time, there is no clear description of the individual’s gender or race,” police said in a statement. “The person shown in the video could be male or female.”
The individual is wanted for questioning in connection with the case, investigators said.
Cogir of Potomac Senior Living is located in the 10800 block of Potomac Tennis Lane.
Anyone with information connected to the homicide, like recognizing the clothing, identifying any distinguishing characteristics, like the gait of the potential killer, is asked to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Solvers of Montgomery County.
