Shooting death at Potomac senior living facility

An 87-year-old resident at Cogir Potomac Senior Living Facility was fatally shot Feb. 14. Montgomery County Police officers are investigating the incident as a homicide.

Currently, police have no suspect information, and no arrests have been made.

First responders found Robert Fuller, Jr. inside an apartment in the facility located on Potomac Tennis Lane at 7:34 a.m. Attempts to save him were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers observed the victim’s head trauma, and homicide detectives confirmed he had been shot. Fuller’s body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
