Mongtomery County police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the person or people who supplied fentanyl to a Rockville teenager whose drug use led to his death.
Gabriel Ronald Mehta, 15, was found unconscious in a bathtub on Feb. 28, 2025. First responders began life-saving efforts and then transported the child to a nearby hospital. Police said the cause of death was drowning.
Detectives want to find the person or people who supplied Mehta with fentanyl, or anyone he was in contact with on Feb. 27, 2025.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or submit an anonymous tip online. Information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $10,000.
