Students practiced for months to get ready for a TRYathlon at Germantown’s Longview School for students who have serious disabilities.
“We just basically adapt everything to meet their needs, and today is the day that all their hard work pays off and they get to show off their skills,” said Jeff Watkins, physical education teacher at Longview.
Students from Spark Matsunaga Elementary, which shares a campus with Longview, came to cheer on their peers.
