Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department’s Major Crimes Division have released surveillance photos of suspects connected to an armed robbery in Derwood on Tuesday, May 12.
The robbery happened at the CVS Pharmacy in the 17600 block of Redland Road. At around 5:35 p.m., a man and woman entered the store holding a toddler and allegedly began stealing merchandise. When the suspects tried to leave, a store employee confronted them. The suspects then threatened the employee with a knife, police said. The suspects fled the scene with the stolen merchandise, according to detectives.
Police are now asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects by visiting their website or calling 1-866-411-8477. Tips may remain anonymous.
