Montgomery County police responded to reports of a man allegedly threatening staff with a knife at Adventist Healthcare Shady Grove Medical Center, according to police.
The incident happened Friday, June 5 at around 2:27 p.m. Upon arriving to the hospital, located in the 9900 block of Medical Center Drive, officers deployed tasers in an attempt to detain the suspect, but were unable to reach contact, according to police.
Officers said they were able to eventually restrain the suspect, who was later taken into custody.
No patients or staff were injured in the altercation.
