A 15-year-old driver crashed into a Silver Spring house Tuesday, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police.
MCPD officers arrived at the scene of the crash, located in the 12800 block of Bushey Drive of Silver Spring for a report of a collision involving an off-duty police officer. The officer involved in the collision was not transported to a hospital.
Police say the teenage driver fled the scene after crashing into the house.
Officers later located the driver, and then took the teen into custody. There were two passengers in the vehicle who also fled the scene who have been identified, but will not be charged, police say.
No new information has been released.
