Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg closed it doors at the end of March, 2023, after 45 years in business.
MCM spoke with Councilmember Laurie Anne Sayles in January who said that it is “the end of an era. The Lakeforest Mall was a real staple for the community and over the last decade or so, it’s been dwindling in how it serves the community.”
