Armed Gas Station Robbery in Germantown Prompts Police Investigation

The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is offering a $10,000 reward to identify a man who robbed a Mobil Gas Station on Middlebrook Road on Jan. 31, according to a recent press release.

Video released by MCPD reveals the man came into the store and bought items from the display shelf. He brought the items to the employee at the cash register and took out cash to pay for them.

When the cash register opened, the man took out a gun and pointed it at the employee. He then leaned over the counter, stole money from the register and ran away.

MCPD described the man as a “Black male, approximately 6-feet tall, around 175 lbs, wearing a black ski mask, a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.”
