Sheila Ogilvie is a Montgomery County Resident, Independent Travel Advisor, Certified Cruise Counselor, Meetings and Events at Sea Specialist, and host of the Travel Talk with Sheila and Friends Podcast. Prior to becoming a Travel Advisor, Entrepreneur Sheila was President of Ogilvie Transportation Services providing Luxury Limousine and Executive Sedan Services across the DMV and beyond from 1999-2021. From 2009-2020, she produced and hosted a 30-minute cable program, titled Transforming Lives…Impacting Communities; and in 2021 she co-produced the PVAC Fund’s Historic Juneteenth 2-Hour TV Special, titled “Montgomery County Parade of Scholarships” a collaborative initiative with 12 local nonprofit organizations in support of students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Sheila is active in the community as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, the PVAC Fund, Inc., The Links, Incorporated, Montgomery County Chapter of the Society, Inc. Supporting Youth in the Arts, Montgomery County Branch of the NAACP, the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), AGWG Civic Association, and Montgomery Community Media (MCM). She and her family reside in Silver Spring, Maryland.
