Blog: World Elder Abuse Awareness Day

The 2022 Senior Safety Forum recognizing and supporting World Elder Abuse Awareness Day takes place the week of June 13-16. Events will be online, as well as in-person at various Senior Centers around the county, including the Holiday Park Senior Center.

The schedule of events:

Monday, June 13th kicks off with a talk on Recognizing Elder Abuse in an Increasingly Virtual World from 10 – 11:30 a.m.

Tuesday, June 14th the topic is Healthy and Unhealthy Relationships. There will be a program in Spanish from 10 – 11:15 a.m. and in English from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m.

Thursday, June 16th is Staying Connected Safely from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
