One of the highest ranked girls basketball teams in the country hails from Montgomery County. Bullis School, located in Potomac, is currently No. 11 in the nation, according to high school recruiting service ESPNnext.
The Bulldogs recently put the prep basketball world on notice by beating defending National Champion IMG 43-37 in the She Got Game Classic in Virginia.

Bullis is led by junior guard Ivanna Wilson Manyacka, who is the reigning Gatorade Player of the Year in Maryland. Wilson Manyacka averaged 18.5 points and 11.2 rebounds last season, leading the Bulldogs (24-8) to the semifinals of the Maryland Private School State Tournament. Wilson Manyacka is one of the most sough after recruits in the country, with offers from some of the top programs in the nation, including South Carolina, UConn, UCLA and Notre Dame.
