Collision with Tree in Potomac Proves Deadly

A vehicle collided with a tree early Saturday morning, leading to the death of the driver, according to a press release from Montgomery County Department of Police. 

At 12:54 a.m., officers from MCPD and Fire and Rescue responded to South Glen Road in Potomac after getting reports of a collision. 

Detectives have determined that the deceased, Brianna Java White, was traveling westbound on South Glen Road when her car left the roadway and struck a tree. The cause of the departure from the roadway is still under investigation.

There were no additional passengers in the car at the time.
