County Police to Honor Fallen Heroes

Throughout the month of May, Montgomery County Police will remember and honor their fallen colleagues.

Starting at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, officers will begin a vigil and memorial service at Gaithersburg’s Public Safety Headquarters. Current and former public safety workers will participate in a 24-hour vigil at the Public Safety Memorial at Police Headquarters.

At 8 p.m. a candlelight vigil will be held.

On Wednesday, the Montgomery County Police Department, Sheriff’s Office and the Montgomery County Division of the Maryland-National Capital Park Police will honor their fallen heroes at the annual Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m.
