Montgomery County Recreation Senior Centers moved into another phase of reopening this week. The White Oak, Wheaton, and North Potomac locations joined the list of the seven Senior Centers across the county that are now open five days a week.
Next will be the Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center located in Silver Spring – which will open on Monday, August 16. Schweinhaut Senior Center Director Karen Maxin explains how the reopening phases work.
An indoor mask mandate will go into effect on Saturday, August 7 at 12:01 a.m., requiring face coverings in all indoor areas open to the public, regardless of vaccination status.
