‘Dork Diaries’ Duo Rachel and Nikki Russell Return to Gaithersburg Book Festival

Rachel Renée Russell and her daughter, Nikki Russell, return to the Gaithersburg Book Festival on Saturday, May 17. The festival features more than 130 authors.

The mother-daughter team will present “Dork Diaries 16: Tales From a Not-So-Bratty Little Sister”, the latest book in their bestselling series. Rachel is the No. 1 New York Times bestselling author of Dork Diaries, and Nikki illustrates the books. Together, they’ve released 19 consecutive New York Times bestsellers.

The series has more than 55 million copies in print and has been translated into 42 languages.

Gaithersburg Mayor and GBF founder Jud Ashman shares a brief review of “Tales From a Not-So-Bratty Little Sister.”

The Russells will discuss their book at 3:15 p.m. in the Ogden Nash Pavilion and sign books at 4:15 p.m.

The Gaithersburg Book Festival takes place Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Bohrer Park, 506 S. Frederick Avenue. Admission and parking are free.
