Driver Crashes into Cars in White Oak After Being Shot

Montgomery County Police identified the shooting victim as Tyrone Howard Brown, 17, of no fixed address.

Police responded to the parking lot at the Birches Apartments in the 1500 block of Heather Hollow Circle in White Oak Thursday night after receiving a call about a vehicle collision.

Upon arrival, police found Brown inside a car suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. According to police, before coming to a stop, Brown crashed his car into several parked cars in the parking lot.

He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

No suspect is in custody, according to police.

Numerous cars were damaged in what Montgomery County Police are investigating as a homicide.

According to police, a male driver suffered from an apparent gunshot wound, and then drove and crashed into nearby cars.

On Thursday at 11 p.m., police responded to the 1500 block of Heather Hollow Circle in Silver Spring where officers found several damaged cars.

The driver was taken to the hospital, where he later died. No one is in custody, and police report they have no information about a suspect.
