An adult male driver has died following a one-car collision early Sunday morning in the area of Crabbs Branch Way and Moccasin Lane in Derwood.
According to Montgomery County Police officers, the driver was headed south on Crabbs Branch Way when he drove off the road and struck a tree at approximately 1:41 a.m.
Police and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded and transported the driver to an area hospital, where he died Monday morning.
The crash is under investigation. More details will follow once the driver’s family has been notified.
