A father and daughter have been arrested in connection to a stabbing of their housemate in Silver Spring, according to Montgomery County police.
Detectives arrested 54-year-old William Andrew Dunn and his 24-year-old daughter Brittany Elaine Dunn Thursday. They announced Friday the two have been charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and related offenses in connection with the June 4 stabbing that took place in the 3700 block of Stepping Stone Lane in Silver Spring.
Police said the the victim suffered from stab wounds in the upper chest.
The Dunns were located and arrested in the 14900 block of Broschart Road in Rockville by U.S. Marshalls who specialize in fugitive searches.
The Dunns transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit and remain in police custody.
