Montgomery County police assisted the U.S. Park Police in pursuing a reported stolen vehicle June 2 through Montgomery County and Washington, D.C. according to authorities.
Video shared online appears to show police vehicles traveling through traffic at around 3:50 p.m. along Connecticut Avenue NW during the pursuit. Officials say they were chasing a vehicle that was reported as stolen in the area of Colesville Road and University Boulevard East.
The chase ended with four minors being taken into custody in the parking lot of Montgomery Blair High School, according to police. Officials say there were minor collisions that involved the stolen car.
At approximately 3:50 p.m., MCPD began assisting @usparkpolicepio with a pursuit of a stolen vehicle in the area of Colesville Road and University Boulevard East. There is currently a large police presence in the area.
