Girls on the Run (GOTR) of Montgomery County is bringing back its GOTR Pickle-Fest for a second year. The community is invited to hit the courts, have some fun and support a great cause on Oct. 17 at Dill Dinkers in North Bethesda.
The pickleball-filled day is designed for players of all ages and skill levels. There will be lessons, match play and plenty of opportunities to get in the game. Pickle-Fest helps raise awareness of Girls on the Run and supports its Scholarship Fund.
The Pickle-Fest includes round robin tournaments for advanced beginners, intermediates, and above.
Girls on the Run helps girls of all abilities build confidence, strengthen relationships and develop healthy habits. Through physical activity and guided discussions, trained coaches help participants develop social, emotional and physical skills that support them both on and off the track.
