Soccer fans across Montgomery County will have no shortage of places to celebrate the World Cup this summer.
Starting on on June 11, fans can gather at several locations throughout the county to watch Team USA and other tournament matches.
The following local restaurants, sports bars and venues will be showing World Cup games:
- Caddies on Cordell (Bethesda)
- Collection at Chevy Chase
- McGinty’s Public House (Silver Spring)
- Sports and Social Bethesda
- Quincy’s Potomac Bar and Grille
- Yardhouse (Gaithersburg)
Bethesda Soccer Club will also welcome families, players and community members on June 12-15 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. for a family-friendly watch party complete with giant screens, food, drinks and turf fields to play on indoors.
On June 13, Citadel Creole Cuisine will host Capital Fan Fest from 6 p.m. until midnight. The event combines live match screenings with entertainment and cultural performances.
The FIFA Fan Festival is also an event worth looking into for Montgomery County residents planning to travel to a match.
