Just hours before polls closed on Primary Election Day, Gov. Wes Moore, U.S. Rep. April McClain Delaney, who represents Maryland’s 6th Congressional District, and County Councilmember Will Jawando gathered at Lakelands Park Middle School in Gaithersburg for a final campaign push.
The candidates discussed major issues facing voters, including housing affordability, health care and economic uncertainty. The governor and congresswoman also reflected on whether, in these divisive and uncertain times, if sporting events like the FIFA World Cup can help bring Americans together.
