Catherine Hoggle will be held without bond after she was recently arrested and charged again with murdering her two children.
Diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, she was arrested this month after her release from a psychiatric hospital.
It has been more than a decade since Jacob and Sarah Hoggle went missing from Montgomery County. The children were last seen in 2014, when they were two and three-years-old.
According to the county State’s Attorney, Hoggle took both children separately by car and did not return with either. The children remain missing to this day.
“The main thing for me is my kids,” the children’s father Troy Turner told media following the decision from the county Circuit Court judge Tuesday. Turner wants justice, “but number one is finding my children, giving them a proper place to rest, that’s what I’m here for.”
The mother from Clarksburg was previously charged with murdering the children. But she was found incompetent to stand trial, and the charges were dropped in 2022.
Hoggle was indicted by a grand jury July 31.
