Hyundai Owners Can Get Free Anti-Theft Software Upgrades in Gaithersburg

On Thursday, Montgomery County Police Chief Marcus Jones said 41% of vehicles stolen so far this year in Montgomery County have been Hyundais. Through Saturday, Hyundai owners and lessees are encouraged to bring their cars to Public Safety Headquarters in Gaithersburg to get anti-theft software upgrades for free.

Those with Hyundais years 2011-2021 can bring their vehicle to 100 Edison Park Drive from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday or Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. There is no appointment necessary.
