J. Chow’s, a local food court eatery at Westfield Montgomery mall, is closing for good Sunday as first reported by Store Reporter. The family-owned restaurant, a local favorite since 1979 known for their signature Chinese chicken salad was located at the White Flint Mall for over 30 years and then moved to Westfield Montgomery mall about a decade ago.
According to Store Reporter, business has been down since the pandemic and slow sales paired with rising rents made the owners decide it was time to retire.
