Lauren Francis-Sharma Discusses Latest Novel, ‘Casualities of Truth’

Lauren Francis-Sharma sat down with Holly Smith at the Gaithersburg Book Festival on Saturday, May 17, to discuss her latest novel, “Casualties of Truth.”

Francis-Sharma also wrote “Book of the Little Axe,” a finalist for the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award, and the critically acclaimed “‘Til the Well Runs Dry.” She is a MacDowell fellow and serves as assistant director of the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference at Middlebury College. She lives with her family near Washington, D.C. Her newest novel, “Casualties of Truth,” was published in February by Atlantic Monthly Books.
