Saturday’s free comic convention will not include the in-person events as originally planned. The Montgomery County Public Libraries canceled the in-person events scheduled for the Germantown Library due to the increased spread of COVID-19. The comic convention is in its sixth year and is an all-ages event celebrating all things comics, graphic novels, and fandoms.
The convention includes:
- Superhero Storytime, 10:30 – 11 a.m.
- Craft Demos, 11 – 11:45 a.m.
- Toy Design: From Screen to Shelf, noon – 1 p.m.
- Gamer Trivia, 1:15 – 2:15 p.m.
- Board Games: The Creative Process, 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
- Art Contest Slideshow, 3:45 – 4 p.m.
