
A death investigation in North Bethesda became a homicide investigation after a man was found dead Sunday.
Officers and fire rescue went to the 5900 block of Montrose Road around 7:45 a.m. Sunday morning, according to the Montgomery County Police Department. Officers found a man dead inside an apartment.
A full autopsy will determine the cause and manner of death.
No one is in custody and no suspect information is available, according to police Sunday afternoon. The investigation is ongoing.
The victim’s name will be shared after notification of next of kin.
UPDATE: The death investigation in the 5900 block of Montrose Road is now being investigated as a homicide. One adult male was located inside of an apartment. Major Crimes is on scene.
