A young man who abandoned his vehicle on I270 near its split with Montrose Road is being taken to the hospital for evaluation after he abandoned his car and took off all his clothes, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer.
“He dropped all his clothes in the middle of the road. He attempted to get into several vehicles,” Piringer said.
The man then jumped onto a Cabin John Fire truck that was responding to the incident but was unable to enter as the doors were locked.
Montgomery County and Rockville City police and the county Sheriff’s office are investigating.
The Friday morning incident slowed traffic on I270 in both directions between Montrose Road.
