Maryland Department of Transportation’s State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is exploring the future of travel in Maryland. A short survey on new transportation innovations such as self-driving vehicles, is open through May 13.

A “self-driving vehicle” is a vehicle that uses technology for all of the driving tasks now done by a human driver.

Self-driving vehicles are a key consideration for the future of travel in Maryland and may become a part of everyday life. The State Highway Administration wants to hear what Marylander’s think about self-driving vehicles and the role they may play in the future.

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is available online in English and Spanish. Survey answers are anonymous.
