Montgomery County Coronavirus Cases Increase to 107

The number of Montgomery County coronavirus cases has increased to 107, according to figures the state Department of Health released Tuesday morning.

There were 68 cases on Saturday morning, which increased to 83 on Sunday and 93 on Monday.

As of Tuesday morning, there are 349 confirmed cases in Maryland, up from 288 on Monday.

Montgomery County has the highest number of Maryland’s cases, and Prince George’s County has the next highest total, with 63 cases as of Tuesday morning.

Government and health officials emphasize that the number of confirmed cases will grow as more residents across the state are tested.

Anyone who does not have health insurance should know that Maryland’s health insurance program is open for a special enrollment period. The deadline to enroll is April 15. The Maryland Health Connection website has information.
