Montgomery Health Department to Offer Free Flu Vaccination Clinics

flu shot on prescription padMontgomery County Department of Health and Human Services has announced dates for its annual flu vaccination campaign.

Seasonal flu circulates in the fall and winter, so it’s important to get vaccinated to prevent illness during flu season. The county’s seasonal flu vaccination clinics are launching in late October. Vaccinations are offered to individuals older than 6 months of age.

People can schedule appointments online or by calling 311. Click here for the  Vaccine Online Appointment Booking System.

Below is a list of vaccine clinic schedules and locations:

October 21 – 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Universities at Shady Grove
Building II
9630 Gudelsky Drive, Rockville

  • FREE
  • For anyone 6 months of age and older.
  • By appointment only.
  • Flu shots only; No FluMist available.
  • Visitors will pay a parking fee and can park in the Traville Gateway Garage or Shady Grove Garage 24 hours, 7 days a week $2/hr. (Maximum $14/day). See parking map ( pdf).

November 18 – 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
