On Wednesday at approximately 6:00 p.m., Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services responded to an apartment fire on Walkers Choice Road in Montgomery Village.
The fire was located in a first floor bedroom. Residents from the three-story building were evacuated and one dog rescued, according to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer.
No one was reported to be injured, but several residents were left displaced. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
