Montgomery County Police identified the motorcyclist killed Sunday as Elijah Isaiah Shand Thweatt, 24, of Clarksburg.
According to police, Thweatt was traveling south on Frederick road approaching Milestone Manor Lane when he struck a Toyota Prius, whose driver was turning left.
The driver and a passenger in the Prius were treated for minor injuries at an area hospital.

A motorcyclist died following a collision by Milestone Manor Lane and Frederick Road in Germantown on Sunday at 6:10 p.m.
Montgomery County Police officers responded to the area following a report of a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle. The 24-year-old male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
According to police, the drivers of a black Yamaha MT09 and a white Toyota Prius collided in the intersection. The crash is under investigation.
