New Website Reveals County Actions on Climate Change

In an effort to link all aspects of the county’s action on climate change, the Climate Action Portal webpage was made public on Oct. 12.

“This new web portal provides a better understanding and transparency of our policies, reforms, events and activities while tracking the progress made toward our goals,” Marc Elrich said in a press release.

“When it comes to saving our environment, every moment counts and communication is key.”

Visitors on the website can find the county’s climate progress, planning, partners and more along with resources and ways to get involved. Interactive elements like a carbon footprint calculator and youth climate education slides can also be found on the website.

The webpage can be accessed here.
