Officers Disperse Crowd After Drivers Do Donuts in Downtown Silver Spring 

Police said officers dispersed a crowd Saturday in Downtown Silver Spring after drivers were reportedly doing donuts.

Officers responded to Ellsworth Drive and Fenton Street for the report of cars driving donuts in the intersection, according to the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD). Officers were able to disperse people and no arrests were made. There were no reported injuries. 

Online video shows a driver doing donuts surrounded by a crowd Saturday night.

A surveillance camera currently sits on Ellsworth Drive as of Tuesday afternoon.

MCPD has portable cameras in Downtown Silver Spring that are moved around as needed, police wrote in an email to MyMCM.
