‘Old Bay’ Flavored Vodka to Hit Stores in Maryland Mid-March

Old Bay Vodka? Yes, you read that right. The classic McCormick & Company seafood seasoning Old Bay will soon be available as an alcoholic beverage.

Old Bay flavored vodka will hit the Maryland liquor store shelves mid-March, according to McCormick.

The vodka is a collaboration between McCormick and Maryland-based distillery George’s Beverage Company. The two companies previously collaborated on an Old Bay bloody mary mix.

“Old Bay has been a fan-favorite for over 75 years in the Chesapeake Bay region and beyond,” McCormick chief marketing excellence officer Jill Pratt said in a statement. “Our fans are loyal and passionate when it comes to all things Old Bay. We’re thrilled to work with George’s to bring the one-of-a-kind flavor of Old Bay to fans in entirely new, exciting, and innovative ways.”
