A pedestrian was fatally struck by a driver Wednesday morning on Randolph Road at Locksley Lane in Colesville, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.
The woman was crossing Randolph Road when she was struck by the driver who was in a Toyota Sienna going eastbound on Randolph, according to police. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver stayed at the scene and had no signs of alcohol or drug impairment.
An off-duty officer found the crash at about 7:04 a.m.
Randolph Road was shut down in both directions between Sherwood Forest Drive and Hammonton Place, according to police.
UPDATE: the collision at Randolph Rd involves a pedestrian and one vehicle.
