Churchill (11-1) advanced to the state 4A semifinals for the first time since 1995 Friday beating B-CC 27-13. Senior running back David Avit led the way for the Bulldogs with 199 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns.
Churchill will host Broadneck High School from Annapolis Friday at 6:30 p.m.
