Police: 2 Stabbed in Large Fight in Bethesda

Police said two men were stabbed this month in a large fight that started outside a Bethesda bar and lounge.

The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) recently released surveillance video and asks for the public’s help identifying the suspect.

A large fight began outside of the La Catrina Bar and Lounge at about 2 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14, according to police.

About 10 minutes later, one man was leaving the establishment and was struck by an unknown suspect, and he fell to the ground. A second suspect joined and both suspects began to strike the victim. Police said the victim saw a stab wound to his side.

Another man left the establishment and saw a group of people fighting, police said. He tried to intervene and was stabbed in the back.
