An adult male was pronounced dead at the scene of a head-on fatal collision at 3:21 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Sandy Spring Road and McKnew Road in Burtonsville.
When Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel arrived on the scene, the male drivers of both cars were trapped.
The adult male who was driving a red 2007 Honda CR-V did not survive. The driver of a gray 2024 Honda CR-V was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Montgomery County police.
