Police said detectives are investigating a shooting in the Fairland area.
Officers responded to the 14300 block of Fairdale Road at about 10:13 p.m. on April 13, according to a release from the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD). They found a man with an apparent gunshot wound.
According to police, unknown suspects fired shots into a residence and struck the victim, who was in the home, in the abdomen. He was taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
A blue Tesla was seen leaving the scene after the shooting, according to police.
MCPD urges anyone with information to call the Third District Investigative Section at (240) 773- 6800 or Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Up to $10,000 is offered for information that leads to arrest. Callers can be anonymous.
