There are no Red Line trains Saturday or Sunday between Rhode Island Ave and Fort Totten stations. Metro will run shuttle buses.
Red Line trains will run in two segments Saturday, Jan 28 through Sunday, Jan. 29. Trains from Shady Grove to Rhode Island Ave and from Fort Totten to Glenmont will continue to run every 10 minutes.
Trains will not be in service between Rhode Island Ave and Fort Totten stops for the installation of firer-optic cables for the emergency radio and signal systems. The Brookland Station will be closed.
Free shuttle buses between the Fort Totten, Brookland and Rhode Island Ave stations will be provided.
